Female patient visited us with chief complaint of multiple carious and missing teeth for a long period of time. Patient was not aware of proper oral hygiene so multiple teeth decayed and she was not able to chew her food due to pain.

• As there were multiple teeth needed to be addressed, treatment phase is planned out according to need of treatment. The Following procedure is carried out to restore her function.
• Oral prophylaxis for gums health. Oral hygiene instruction is given to the patient for maintenance.
• Grossly decayed teeth were planned for extraction followed by implant placement.
• Teeth with nerve involvement due to caries planned for root canal treatment followed by PFM crown.
• Small cavity was planned to be filled with composite teeth color filling.
• In the 1st stage of treatment broken teeth are removed and allowed to heal for 3 months to make a strong platform for implant placement.
• All Root canal procedure is carried out with final PFM crown placement.
• Composite filling is done with all decayed teeth.
• Patient is recalled after 3 months for implant surgery.
• In the 2nd stage dentium implant is placed with healing abutment. Another 3 to 4 months is allowed so dental implants get strong inside the bone.
• In the final stage the patient is called for measurement of the final crown for implant. The PFM crown is placed on the implant.

It took us almost a year to restore her chewing function and give her smile back without any pain. Patient is now enjoying her food.
