Case of the Month – Full Mouth Rehabilitation with Implants

A patient visited the US Dental Clinic with the concern of missing teeth in both the upper and lower jaws. He had been using loose-fitting removable dentures and expressed the desire for a more stable and permanent solution with fixed teeth.

Upon clinical examination, it was found that all teeth were missing. However, the oral ridges appeared to be in good condition. To further evaluate bone quality and quantity for implant placement, the patient was advised to undergo a CBCT scan of both jaws.

The CBCT reports were thoroughly reviewed by our implantologist. The scans revealed adequate bone height and width, making the patient clinically eligible for full-mouth dental implants. The patient was scheduled for implant surgery. A total of 8 implants were placed in the upper jaw and 7 implants in the lower jaw, all with good primary stability and torque. Following successful implant placement, impressions were taken and sent to the dental lab for fabrication of the final prosthesis. A hybrid denture prosthesis was delivered, providing the patient with a stable, functional, and natural-looking set of fixed teeth.

The patient is now extremely happy with the results and confident with his new smile.
